Radiofrequency energy is closely monitored with a central unit. The energy is either pulsed in the transcutaneous mode or continuous in the endovenous and hemorrhoid mode. The settings are easily adjusted by the touchscreen. An increase or decrease of the energy and pulses by a simple touch of the screen bars allows practitioners to work in detail without the unnecessary destruction of surrounding tissue and resulting in an effective thermocoagulation and closing of the vein.

Features and Benefits

 Thermocoagulation

The EVRF® device produces thermocoagulation by means of a Radio frequency signal. The principle of thermocoagulation is the heating of the venous wall. A high 4 Mhz frequency will cause the molecule to generate heat and eventually coagulate up to and including the Tunica externa.

Thermocoagulation: Clotting of the blood by raising the temperature of the vein wall, a 4 step process:

  1. Ionic agitation
  2. Vaporization and dehydration of the vein wall tissue
  3. Thermal destruction of the endothales in the vein wall
  4. Dehydration of the tissue and coagulation
