THE MICRO-INTRODUCER AngioDynamics offers microintroducers in 4 and 5 French, with both sizes available in standard or stiffened options. AngioDynamics micro-introducers feature a quarter-twist cam connection that saves time by verifying a secure lock, while seamless dilator-to-sheath transitions promote optimum performance. Choose the stiffened dilator to assist smooth entry into difficult vessels.

THE GUIDEWIRE The most important component of the micro-introducer kit is the guidewire. AngioDynamics has a range of atraumatic configurations to meet your specific needs, including the following options:

• Stainless steel wire and tip

• Stainless steel wire with tungsten tip for increased radiopacity

• Nitinol wire with tungsten tip for increased radiopacity plus high kink resistance The .018" wire tips are atraumatic, designed to deflect off the vessel wall.
