CONTRAINDICATIONS -
There are no known contraindications.
WARNINGS
• Use aseptic technique.
• Do not attempt to flush contrast media or air bubbles back through the contrast delivery system when the Miser burette chamber is full of fluid. (Caution: Flushing back through a full Miser burette chamber could damage the two check valves above the burette chamber and compromise sterility of the spike assembly and contrast container.)
• Make secure connections to prevent the introduction of air into the system.
• Finger-tighten all connections with caution as over tightening can create cracks and/or leaks.
• Examine product carefully for entrapped air and fully debubble prior to injection.
• If there is a possibility of contamination, disassemble, discard, and set up new sterile product.
• Do not use the Miser contrast burette assembly on more than one patient.
• Do not leave the contrast spike assembly attached to a container of contrast for longer than six (6) hours.
• Discard in accordance with accepted medical practice and applicable regulations. After use, this product is a potential biohazard.
• The Miser contrast management burette is for single patient use only. To minimize the potential for loss of structural integrity of the device, cross contamination, and/or patient infection or cross-infection, do not reuse, reprocess, resterilize or alter this device.
PRECAUTIONS
• Carefully read all instructions prior to use.
• Inspect device and packaging prior to use to verify that no damage has occurred during shipping.
• Do not use the product if there are any questions concerning device sterility or damage.
• Insure the device is in an appropriate vertical position during use to obtain best possible clinical results. Note: The burette must hang vertically for the orange ball to operate effectively.
• U.S. Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician (or properly licensed practitioner).
