The first plug deliverable through a microcatheter,* the MVP™ micro vascular plug system redefines treatment for the mechanical embolization of peripheral vasculature. This innovative solution smoothly navigates even tortuous anatomy and is designed as a single occlusion device.


The MVP micro vascular plug system offers several clinically relevant features to support immediate vessel occlusion1 in a variety of applications.  

  • Enables the treatment of distal, super-selective vessels as small as 1.5 mm
  • MVP-3 and MVP-5 devices are compatible with microcatheters
  •  PTFE-covered nitinol plug leads to rapid occlusion
  • Allows for pre-detachment angiography to determine desired placement
  • Fully re-sheathable after partial or complete deployment, ensuring optimal placement

The MVP™ micro vascular plug system is indicated to obstruct or reduce the rate of blood flow in the peripheral vasculature. Results may vary. Not all patients achieve the same results.
