  • The Split Stream® Catheter allows vascular access in adult patients requiring hemodialysis or apheresis who do not have functional permanent vascular access or are not candidates for permanent vascular access. The catheter can act as a bridge device until permanent access, if applicable, is matured and ready for use, or until kidney transplantation


Safety informations

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

  • The Medcomp® Split-Stream® is indicated for use in attaining Long-Term vascular access for Hemodialysis and Apheresis.
  • It may be inserted percutaneously and is primarily placed in the internal jugular vein.
  • Alternate insertion sites include the subclavian vein.
  • Catheters greater than 40cm are intended for femoral vein insertion.
