Micro and support catheters are commonly used during interventional procedures to help gain guidewire access to complex lesions, facilitate guidewire exchange, and provide a conduit for the delivery of contrast during angiographic imaging. Traditional polymer catheter designs carry significant cost or performance limitations and have not advanced to meet the needs of increasingly complex interventions.
XO Cross represents next-generation catheter technology by implementing a proprietary non-tapered, unibody, metal alloy design. The non-tapered feature means the profile of the device remains constant along the length of shaft allowing for market-leading 175cm shaft lengths and telescoping or coaxial dual support. The unibody shaft delivers progressive flex which translates to new levels of pushability, torque response, and catheter fatigue resistance.
