The Zephyr® Model 9100 Device has a single compression balloon that’s easily adjustable to help facilitate patent hemostasis in the radial artery. This technique has been shown to help avoid post-procedure chronic radial artery occlusion.
The Zephyr Model 9200 Device has two easily inflatable compression balloons, one for the radial artery and one for the ulnar artery. By compressing the ulnar artery along with radial artery compression, The Model 9200 reduces distal resistance to radial blood flow. This can help enhance antegrade radial blood flow during vascular compression to facilitate patent hemostasis, which has been shown to help avoid post-procedure chronic radial artery occlusion.
